Tequila Sunrise

This is a cocktail suggested by one of my friends. Of course, a Tequila fan. I thought to put this in my post might allow people to enjoy Tequila in a more serene manner. Enjoy the drink!

Ingredients:

1. 60 ml Tequila
2. 120 ml Orange Juice
3. 15-30 ml Grenadine

Preparation:

• Pour Tequila and orange juice into a highball glass with ice cubes
• Stir
• Slowly pour the grenadine around the inside edge of the glass, it will sink and slowly rise to mix with the other ingredients naturally
• Garnish with and orange slice and a cherry

Variations to try:

• Caribbean Sunrise: Use White Rum instead of Tequila
• Vodka Sunrise: Use Vodka instead of Tequila
• Astronaut Sunrise: Use Tang instead of Orange Juice

I offer you a cocktail recipe with one of my favorite drinks. Yes, this time its whiskey.

Glass: Highball Glass

Ingredients:

• 60 ml blended whiskey
  
• 1 tsp sugar syrup
  
• 15 ml lemon juice
  
• ginger ale

Procedure:

• Fill mixing glass with ice.
  
• Add whiskey, sugar syrup and lemon juice.
  
• Shake.
  
• Pour into highball glass.
  
• Fill with ginger ale.
  

Martini

The classic Martini is one of the drinks that every bartender should know. There are many ways to make a Martini: gin or vodka, little or no vermouth, stirred or shaken and an olive or lemon twist garnish. One drink, so many options.But here we shall see the recipe to the classic martini.

Glass: Cocktail Glass

Ingredients:

• 75 ml gin or vodka
• 15 ml dry vermouth
• 1 green olive or lemon twist for garnish
• orange or Angostura bitters (optional)

Preparation:

1. Pour the ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice cubes.
2. Stir 30 seconds.
3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
4. Add a dash of orange or Angostura bitters if desired
5. Garnish with the olive or lemon twist

Screwdriver

Another very popular cocktail. It has fantacised my imagination since a long as I have been hearing about this in a lot of Hollywood movies. So, my dearest readers, I present to thee...... 

THE SCREWDRIVER:

Glass: Tall Glass

Ingredients:

• 45 ml vodka 
  
• 135 ml fresh squeezed orange juice, ice cold 
  
• 1 tsp lemon juice

Preparation:

Combine in tall glass filled with cube ice and stir.

Beer Bomb

I prefer to begin this blog with a post, presenting a cocktail recipe with two of my most favourite drinks. Yes, thats your right guess - Whiskey and Beer. Although I havn't tried this recipie, the composer of this recipie claims non-stop dancing till dawn. Wow! thats a bomb.

Glass Type: Collins

Ingredients:

• Whiskey - 50 ml
  
• Coca Cola (Coke) - 200 ml
  
• Beer - Fill'er up
  

Preparations:

• Take a 500 ml glass.
  
• Pour in the whisky into the glass.
  
• Add 200 ml Coca Cola
• Top the glass with beer.
